Ratio valves are designed for applications where high head pressures pose a danger to downstream equipment and pipework systems.
The ratio pressure reducing valves provide full flow whilst reducing high inlet pressures by a predetermined fixed ratio, thus ensuring downstream pressures never exceed the desired maximum.
The valves action also reduces water hammer/surge that can lead to burst pipes and pressure spikes.
