The Apex Xcess® Trough Valve is an economical, full flow and corrosion resistant sleeved valve that is designed for fast filling of large troughs.
It boasts a large 500 litre per minute flow rate and is available with a short arm where space is restricted.
There is also a long threaded version that comes with a back nut, which can be used on thin wall troughs without the need for a tank fitting.
The valve is fitted with a male camlock which can be used to turn the valve into a remote water outlet.
It also comes standard with a cord and nipple which can be used to attach the float to the arm,
this allows the valve to operate below the water level, which is required if the temperature can drop below 1°C.
As standard it also comes with a 25/20mm threaded adaptor so one valve can be adapted to various troughs, as well as a shut off pin to close the valve.
